Unsolved murder of young Native American girl

For many in Native American communities across the nation, the problem of missing and murdered women is deeply personal.

7-year-old Monica disappeared from a reservation school in 1979. Her body was found frozen on a mountain 20 miles away, and no one has ever been arrested. Mabel Wells, her mother, remembers Monica nearly 40 since her daughter vanished.
